Our Philosophy

French Woods is a place where your dreams are important. Our counselors and adult staff utilize our facilities to make those dreams possible. Our non-competitive programs give you a choice over which activities you take part in and the opportunity to try new things.

We believe that the sleep-away camp experience gives children great opportunity to grow. Our staff will encourage you to try new things and challenge yourself in an environment that supports your success. We find the experience of performing in a theater show, circus performance, dance or music concert builds personal confidence, teaches teamwork and will give you great experiences you can bring with you to everything you do.
